Newry, Mourne & Down PCSP have been helping improve home safety and reduce fear of crime in their community by distributing home safety packs to vulnerable members of the community,older people living alone, previous victims of home burglary and people living in areas identified as high risk for burglaries. Packs were distributed through local Councillors, PCSP members, Neighbourhood Watch Coordinators and Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team after being collected from Newry Leisure Centre, in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines.
