Art Exhibition with a Twist

It’s that time of the year again! Primary 5 children got creative in the name of road safety, putting coloured pens and pencils to paper for the Road Safe NI poster competition.

The artists-in-making were tasked with creating a poster that focused on road safety issues: mobile phone usage; seatbelt wearing; high visibility for all road users; and/or the Green Cross Code. The poster campaign aimed to engage vulnerable road users in the community, and to drive home the safety message!

As part of the partnership with Road Safe NI and Antrim & Newtownabbey PCSP, The Abbey Centre transformed one of their shopping centre units into a gallery space to display the works of art in the STOP, LOOK, LISTEN exhibition.

The winning entries will be published into a Road Safe calendar for Antrim & Newtownabbey PCSP.
